Indemnity
I have read and agree to be bound by the Notice of Race of the above event, the Instructions of the Race Committee including Rescue craft under the direction of the Race Officer, the ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing and by all other rules that govern this event.

I understand and acknowledge that by this entry, the skipper and crew will sail entirely at their own risk and that the onus on whether to start any race or to continue racing lies entirely with the skipper and that none of the organisations or persons concerned in the running of this race and event accept any liability for damage or injury or death, or loss, material or personal, incurred during the race or any other time during the course of this event, howsoever arising.

The skipper and crew hereby indemnify the host yacht club, organisers, National Sailing Authorities, sponsors, Class Associations, manufacturer/ dealer or any person or agent of these bodies whatsoever against any claims for injury,death, damage or loss howsoever arising during the course of the above event.

It is recommended that each yacht carries valid insurance including third party cover.

It shall be the responsibility of the skipper and an appointed member of his crew to inspect his boat for compliance with the Safety regulations of this Regatta and the rules and regulations of the IRC.

We, the skipper and crew, certify that we are both competent to handle our craft, which we have ensured is seaworthy, particularly in the event of one or the other falling off or in the event of adverse weather conditions.
